DECIEM Marks Pride Month with Continued Commitment to 2SLGBTQIA+ Communities
With its meaningful campaign "Pride Is Still Here.", DECIEM highlights the importance of showing up consistently for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, not only during Pride Month but all year round.

Since 2024, DECIEM has contributed over $2.7 million CAD to more than a dozen 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations globally, including The Transgender District, Queer Britain, QMUNITY, Minus18, and Rainbow Railroad. By 2027, the organization will have donated $1 million CAD to Rainbow Railroad alone, helping create pathways to safety for at-risk LGBTQI+ people worldwide. This work is part of a broader $9.5 million CAD we have given to fostering belonging worldwide.
Pride isn’t the performance. It’s what remains.
It lives in moments of safety, trust, and connection, before the celebration begins and long after the noise fades. It’s not always named, but it is always felt.
Pride lives in getting ready together. In shared mirrors, borrowed makeup, and the people who help you feel like yourself before stepping outside. It lives in the morning after, in costumes still on from the night before, in quiet debriefs, and in the simple but meaningful “Did you get home okay?” text.
Pride exists away from the crowd, in shared silence and in conversations that unfold while the world carries on outside. It exists in private rituals, in helping hands, soft laughter, and moments of closeness.
It isn’t confined to a calendar month. It exists in daily rituals and in the small, sustaining moments we share with the people we love.
Pride is still here. And so are we.
And so are the many community organizations doing the work, every day of the year, to uplift and support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
To our community, know that you are worthy of love every day of the year.
Thank you for being who you are.
Let’s celebrate together <3

Partner Perspectives
“We’re proud to partner with DECIEM in the city that continues to shape all of us. Together, we recognize that advocacy is an ongoing commitment, and this partnership reflects a shared dedication to showing up with intention, consistency, and care. This year’s theme is a powerful reminder that visibility and community matter more than ever, and together we are creating spaces where everyone can be seen, celebrated, and safe, underscoring the important role corporate advocacy plays in driving meaningful, lasting impact.” - Kojo Modeste, Executive Director, Pride Toronto
“We’re proud to partner with DECIEM and work together to support LGBTQI+ individuals seeking safety and freedom around the world. Since 2021, DECIEM's support of Rainbow Railroad has demonstrated its leadership through their charitable donations, their sponsorship of our annual June fundraiser, The Freedom Party, and to this year's collaboration with designer Willy Chavarria benefitting our work. This July, we will cross a $1M CAD milestone in donations from DECIEM, reflecting a meaningful and sustained commitment. Support like this helps expand access to safety, dignity, and the opportunity for LGBTQI+ people to live openly and authentically.” - Anthony Mercurio, Chief Development Officer, Rainbow Railroad
